Medicare Texas — FAQ

When can I enroll in Medicare?

Your Initial Enrollment Period begins 3 months before your 65th birthday, includes your birthday month, and ends 3 months after — a 7-month window. Missing this window can result in late enrollment penalties. Annual Open Enrollment runs October 15 – December 7, allowing plan switches. Call (940) 245-6001 if you’re turning 65 soon.

Do I need a separate Part D drug plan?

If you choose Medicare Supplement (Medigap), yes — you’ll need a standalone Part D drug plan. Medicare Advantage plans typically include drug coverage. David will make sure you have the right drug coverage for your medications before you enroll.

Can I keep my current Texas doctors?

With Medicare Supplement, yes — you can see any doctor in the US who accepts Medicare, no network restrictions. With Medicare Advantage, it depends on the plan’s network. David checks your doctors against plan networks before recommending anything.

What does Medicare not cover?

Original Medicare does not cover dental, vision, hearing, or long-term care. Medicare Advantage may include some of these as extras. For Supplement plans, we can add a standalone dental/vision plan. David will walk you through all the coverage gaps and how to fill them.

Is there a cost to work with you?

No — our service is 100% free. We’re compensated by the insurance carriers, not by you. You get expert guidance, comparison shopping across all carriers, and enrollment help at no charge.
